Politics students should purchase 'A2 US Comparative Government & Politics' by Anthony J Bennett (Phillipallan updates 2nd edition) for the beginning of the academic year.

A useful additional textbook is the 'A2 US & Comparative Government & Politics Question and Answer Guide' by Paul Fairclough.

In addition to the main text students need a second source. Highly recommended is: 'Understanding US/UK Government & Politics' by Duncan Watts (Manchester University Press 2003).
