European Union Exercise.

The class will break into four 'Law Firms', with one member of the Law Firm designated as 'Head of the Law Firm'.

Each Law Firm will then be allocated a topic from those listed below. The Law Firms will be given fifteen minutes to discuss amongst themselves the issues involved. After which, they will be given an additional fifteen minutes to prepare a presentation, for submission to the whole class, on their topic (all students within the Law Firm should try to participate).

The topics are:

(1) The EU Treaties, what they are called, what they do and what, if any, influence they may have.

(2) The relevance of Regulations, Directives, and Decisions of the EU.

(3) The Institutions of the EU.

(4) The relationship between EU Law and National law.
