'Bee in cab' theory as boy, 4, is killed by out-of-control bus
POLICE are today investigating suggestions that a bee in the cab of a London bus caused the driver to lose control and mount the pavement, where the vehicle hit and killed a four-year-old boy. The victim's mother, who was seven months pregnant, was also injured after the bus smashed through safety railings in Collyer Place, at the junction with Peckham High Street and hit the pair as they were walking hand-in-hand. A police spokesman said the bee in the cab was "one line of inquiry".
