A north London woman is to appear in court accused of knowingly passing on the HIV infection to a man.

Masozi Mvula, 31, of Bush Hill Park, will appear before Enfield magistrates next month charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and GBH wounding.

Mvula will appear in court on September 6, Scotland Yard says. She was arrested by officers working as part of Operation Sapphire, a unit that deals with allegations of sex-related crimes.
