Approach to revision:
In order to undertake these revision exercises students should make use of both the 'OCR Law for AS Law' by Jacqueline Martin (5th edition) AND 'The English Legal System Course Companion and Revision Guide' by Jo Smillie.

(1) 'Striving for an A-grade' - presentation by Dr Jepson.
(2) Work in pairs (to be selected by the Laws teacher): From the EssayBank select two 'Sources of Law' examination questions and produce a detailed written plan and answer for each question. Then, as a team, explain your plan and read your written answer to the entire class.
(3) Practice planning and then writing past 'Sources of Law' examination questions.
(4) Undertake a 'mock' examination.
(5) Revise over the Easter vacation.
(6) Sit the 'Sources of Law' examination in May.
Some 'Virtual Revision Masterclasses' materials may be used by the Laws teacher to aid this area.
