McDougal is a traditional employer, who believes that since he pays the wages he has the freedom to employ who he likes. He places an advertisement for a 'Reprographics Assistant' and has the following applicants ...

Mary (who is overweight, and a Lesbian with green hair). John (who is Wheelchair Disabled and of Indian origin - but was born in the UK) and Marcel (who is 52, Male and French).

McDougal refuses to employ them and states the following reasons ...

Because Mary is 'Fat' and a 'Lesbian'. Also, because of her green hair.

Because of John's 'race'. Because the building has no wheel chair ramp and no lift (the Office is on the first floor). Because John does not have an 'A-Level in English'.

Because Marcel is French and is a man who McDougal does not fancy (he prefers young women). Also, because of Marcel's age of 52.

In telling Mary she will not be offered the job, McDougal has an argument with Mary and slaps her across the face calling her a 'fat lesbian'. The Police are called - what can be expected?

In telling John that he will not get the job, there is an argument and McDougal waves his fist at John and calls him a racist name. The Police are again called - what can be expected?
