Citizenship Activity/Fun Day

The idea of this activity is for Citizenshiop students to create, plan, and organise, (in the weeks after the examinations and before the end of term in July) an activity/fun day for the College students. Included within this 'fun day' will be the 'Department of Laws Mooting Competition', a visual display of the 'US Politics Podcasts', a 'Laws Research display/presentation', and a topical 'Debate' involving some students from the Debating Society.

Some suggestions for this students organised activity include:

A Strode's has got talent contest.

To raise funds for a charity.

To have some fun in planning, and on the day.

A promotion on the basis of a theme associated with a campaign or a charity.

Theme ideas: The Environment - Heathrow Flights - Celebrating the UN Charter on Human Rights etc etc
