‘ASBO’s on trial’.

Students divide into teams of three or four and prepare to put their case. In each team different students will have different roles.

In the pro-ASBO teams there will a New Labour Home Secretary, a police officer and a victim of abuse/harassment (possibly a Chair if there is four students in a team).

On the anti-ASBO teams there will be parent of someone subject to a punitive ASBO, a pressure group representative from ASBO concern and a Lib Dem/Green Party MP.

The teams then present their case to the class.
