Citizenship ProfileIt is an examination requirement that ALL 'AS Citizenship Studies' students undertake an 'Active Citizenship project' and maintain (for taking into the examination) an 'Active Citizenship Profile' (you are advised to record details of more than one activity/project if you do more than one).
Please note that you will need Laws staff approval for your 'active citizenship project/activity' (it is wise to ask before you start). The below is a guide to the type of 'active citizenship' project activities that Laws staff are likely to approve. This list is indicative and not exhaustive, so feel free to come up with ideas of your own. You should place in writing - to Mr Bunce dbunce@strodes.ac.uk - an 'active citizenship approval' request (deadline date is the 8th October 2008) that you consider will fit in with the'Active Citizenship Profile' criteria. Your request will be considered by Mr Bunce and/or Dr Peter Jepson.
Please note that these project activities can be undertaken individually, in pairs, or as part of a team. It is anticipated that certificate prizes will be presented to students - recognising their projects - at the College prize-giving.
