Plan an answer to the question (use sub-headings in your essay).
Establish an essay structure.
In your introduction explain how you intend to answer the question.
Within each Sub-heading discuss and explain the issues – try to give examples and opinions.
Refer to cases.
Analyse the issues, the law and the cases.
Try to give an overview. Look at any proposals for reform (proposals for reform are not always needed if dealing with a problem question).
Give a brief overriding conclusion.
